remember, remember the fifth of November
"Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder, treason and plot, I know of no reason why gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot."
Ideology is such a powerful weapon that could change the world. A vendetta against the absolute monarchy in Britain in the early 2010s is the setting of the plot. The main character 'V' can be said as an all-rounder or affectionately known as an elite. He's not only a scientist but also a linguist and a combater. To overthrow the current government, he planned for a foolproofed plot for about 10 years. All his assasination styles and methods were witty.
The scriptwriter, who wrote several dialogues with metaphors, synonyms etc, is superb in playing with words. The animations were there, editing was good and not forgetting the acting was seamless.
Certain taglines are really well written and could be pondered upon...
"People should not be afraid of their governments.
Governments should be afraid of their people."
"Artists used lies to tell the truth,
while politicians used them to cover the truth up."
"...that every action will create
an equal and opposing reaction."
A 10/10 rated movie.
