yesterday was a fun gathering for msco seniors at alvin's house.played squash,tennis and 'water polo'[not really water polo as the pool is not the correct size(so are the players)and the ball is a RUGBY ball!~lol]yea~,1 point to us!lol.

after the sporty afternoon,we started on the bbq stuffs.never imagine that i'll encounter a brand new experience for bbq.the food there are quite exotic.[at least for me~]they bought sausages with cheese embedded within.[a word of caution,the cheese sausages easily 'lok zup'(drip juice for direct translation)lol.]and we also had garlic bread.hmm,quite a hip stuff cause never had i been in a bbq with garlic bread.finally,nobody will accept the idea of DRUMLETS being larger than it should be.lol.but it was good.with stout and other of their secret recipes.perhaps they copied the recipe from the bbq book they borrowed from the library?lol.

the bbq was enjoyable.with good food,good friends and good weather~the finale was quite expected.everybody was talking about NS stuffs.but in the middle of all the conversations happenning from all sides,my phone rang.guess what,i'm in the SCDF!!~yea!~was so terrified that i would be posted into commando or even the NDU[as what wei xiang said.lol.]it was a good surprise for me on the eve of the eve of the new year.

after the hell lot of fun we just had,we continued to stay overnight there.played pictionary the entire morning.[what's a mutton-bird by the way?]finally i'm able to complete the pictionary game after about 8 years since i've bought this game.[mastered a new skill from pictionary- kan qing chu(look carefully~)]it was a silent early morning will perpetual sudden loud laughters.[didn't expect alvin's family did not lodge a complain on us~lol.]anyway,we made our own dessert.eh,forgot what that name of the dessert was.[was it pronouced as fon-deu?] but i only know that it was originated from switzerland and it is taking fruits[or bread with cheese dipped originally]dipped into some hot chocolate~nice nice~especially with banana.slept around 4 plus am.

woke up around 10 am.played saboteur and continued playing pictionary together with our breakfast which was the bee hoon from yesterday's bbq.went out around 1 plus pm to play lan.[played warcraft.]but wasn't sure of the game.anyway,the management and the service of the lan shop is quite getting on my nerves.inefficient,that's the word.

woke up earlier than before.so took that opportunity to start off with Hide and Seek.quite interesting.but my reading speed could be improved i guess.went to meet up with lim and low for lunch at CP.afterthat came hk,marcus john and zc.[but truthfully,zc was as late as sitting for an exam at the last 30 minutes~lol.]so before zc's VCD came,we played abit of saboteur and slack abit.in the end,still cannot watch the movie cause it was too late le,low had to report back to camp.[Audience:AWww...lol]

actually wanted to eat-out for dinner.but then since they insist[okay..they invite..lol]us for dinner,we can't supposedly reject it right?lol.so stayed at low's house for dinner~the pig trottle was nice~

bid farewell to low after dinner.[Audience:AWww...(with some element of sadness)lol]tried to contact lasini but then i assumed he was neither at home nor on his HP.so went home after dinner.little did i know he was at a chalet.lol.battery flat.that's why.

watched Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children![thaks marcus~]it's damn nice and cool~you'll be in excruciating pain if you missed this one~lol.the story was typical of the FF series.but the graphics was still as nice as ever![if not even more clear~]the action was juggling between slow and fast motion.but a let down[at least for me]was that they only summoned 1 GF in that movie. was anticipating more of it.[summon all leh~lol]as usual,the good people lives happily ever after and the bad guys died miserably but with abit of atonement?lol.

what's the time now?[huh?....Huhh?....Huuuh?..lol.]it's 5 20pm and i've just woke up and will have another 7 hours or so to celebrate this joyous occasion.oh well,this is the aftermath of staying up in the night watching 25 episodes of anime![YA-HA~]starting was me,sf,zy,les,low,john and marcus watching at 11 plus pm.slowly,[in obscurity]left only me,les and marcus watching till the end.[maybe we've got the potential to participate in the movie marathon~]

what we've done on christmas eve?me and hk went to have lunch at hougang.[everybody else ps-ed.there shouldn't be lunch in the first place,then can sleep more~lol.] me, hk, sf, yx, zc, zy, lim,
les,low,john,marcus went to SC for 2 hours of games at 2pm.[moo-hoo~]it was fun but then would like to try more of other games.~dinner was at CJ.first time eating there.the serving was really large.at least large enough to make us full.[not like other fast food restaurants which can only make us 1/2 or 3/4 full.]

last programme was to go low's house for countdown.~some were to engross on the anime that had missed the 00 00 hour by 20 minutes!~

first thing in the christmas morning was raining.[how bad can it be?]headed straight home to get some sleep and woke up just in time to have some high-tea?lol.

met up with hk and john at SS for a run.[saw ying ru there again]after doing a pull-up,an uncle in vicinity started a conversation with me.talked about NS and stuffs which i dread about thinking about it,let alone talking about it.[he told me to run before doing pull-ups to gain stamina so that i can do more reps.is this true or just another myth?beats me~] anyway,ran 2 rounds and i'm quite tired le.maybe it's because that i've not ran for a very long time le.

went swimming with hk and zy.john left us to go don't know where.lol.[he self declared that his faeces weigh about 400 plus grams after the subtraction of before and after you-know-what~] ate lunch at S11 again.at least it's not that inedible than my house one.

and yes,we're back in town again.[how many times did i actually say this?]went to look for some christmas present.i've ought to find one more.at least this was not an otiose trip to town.after eating dinner at FJ,went to one of the restaurant at SSC.[sucks big time~]this is really an otiose trip.went there waste money;waste time.NO PLAYING OF CARDS!okay,but can you at least don't give us that sulky face?lol.after much complains from zc and marcus,[with addition of vulgarities definitely]we decided to head back home.not forgetting to pay th $3 for 2 glasses of sprite in 10 cent coins with the complimentary of 2 50 cents and a dollar coin.lol.[boring....~]

ARGH!...the hammering is getting on my nerves!can somebody please tell the government not to spent what it seems to me to be unecessary money on frivolous things.now the whole block of flats around my area are undergoing changing-of-wire-casing-with-a-hell-lot-of-noise-to-irritate-the-residents project.[i can even feel the vibrations of the hammering under my feet now when i'm writing this entry~!]what on earth is the government trying to do?too much money to spend?or they got no other issues that interest them or have no solutions to those issues?so they had to increase our taxes and pay those people for such things.it's not like the casing is rusty and dangling there precariously.it's as good as new!just that it's gone out of it's original colour!

sometimes you may even see some banglahs on the road side drilling the road out and then put on the new surface.may i ask again,why is there a need to change when that tinie-winie part of the road is perfectly okay?new things are good but think again,it's the tax payers money!

what's next?tearing down the esplanade by January and design a new esplanade?there are still alot of other places that need such services.think about it.

today woke up with nothing in mind to do for the rest to today.leveled up to 94 for my DK.walked around aimlessly again at home,thinking of what to do.then,i thought of making the card game that we played at settler's.lol.used about 2 hours to make the complete set.

went to meet with hk and john for supper at serangoon gardens.then went to cartel for a drink and experimented on my modified card game.it was quite fun,but should be more fun with more people playing.shall modify further,cause like very difficult to win leh.lol.

shall experiment again tomorrow with more people joining in~....hopefully...lol

the first thing i felt when i woke up today was the pain on the back of my shoulder.the pain links me back to the scenario of Saw.but i wasn't locked up i a cell or something.maybe it's because of a bad sleeping posture or maybe it was the swim.

went to lim's house to watch Saw I together with hk and quek.the plot was quite nicely written and the scheme was as good as Saw II.didn't expect the last twist though.it was agonising enough to watch a movie with a back pain moreover we are watching psycho movie.

went back for CO practice again at BH after 6 months.but the strength was quite pathetic.only 8 people turned up today.but good to have new songs to practice.

hopefully the pain will go away by tomorrow morning~

once again,i had to wake up early.[around 7am]went to watch the violin competition again,but was watching with john.quite surprised that he'll go and watch.lol.anyway,still impressed by that small japanese girl.think she should be able to get into the finals.[and with the other 2 china girls]what are we singaporeans doing?!lol.

took a transition from RC to PS.was stopped by a surveyer asking about RC.[got a complimentary ticket for a free drink!~]walked around PS.forgotten to eat lunch first cause i thought we are eating lunch together.lol.so had to rush for lunch with john at the foodcourt.quite sucky the 菜饭.[both the quantity and quality]watch aeon flux with hk,xh,lim and quek.[pity les and john didn't join us.lol]was quite nice,but the plot abit like the island.anyway,i'll give it a 7/10.

went to A ramen for early dinner at around 6pm with hk,xh and lim.very filling!cause of the 菜饭 i ate 4 hours ago.if not i can finish xh's share.=x

met up with cs,mt,tr,ws,yx,jon,ken and alvin at CQ for some games at S.there's a myraid of board games and card games.we all played Taboo and Saboteur.[remember the TCF!]if you want to find a job there as a waiter,you may want to think twice as you need to have the knowledge of almost all the games there.[if not ALL]

this morning was a musical day in E minor.went to watch the NAC piano and violin competition with cs and ws.watched the senior and open category of violin.was quite amazed with that little japanese girl that played very zai in the open category.

met les and john at bugis after wondering around bugis for about an hour.lol.then went for more walks.ate dinner at the TS coffeeshop.then was more walks again at marina square.[with john's friend]les and i are just tagging along.[like bodyguards.lol.]from then on,i tell myself i do not have any relationship with john.[after all his 'friendly' remarks to strangers]

guess what.i woke up at 1 30 today.yup,it's pm,not am.lol.don't know why i slept for so long.perhaps i had to many late night sleeps.anyway,went swimming with les at 3pm.surprisingly i swam for more than 5 laps!~[usually i only swim for like 2-3 laps]quite tiring though.[cause cannot catch up with les~lol.]maybe because we want to swim away from the uncle who is uncannily akin to merlion.[he literally spits into the pool.i repeat,INTO THE POOL!not the drain section.]

we went to JP at CP for lunch.guess what.their food and service are not that fantastic but we still have to pay GST!lol.imagine eating a plate of 'chicken chop'[the menu wrote "grilled boneless chicken"]with fries,[which was alright]vegetables that was suspiciously akin to the 'West Kingdom' at the cateen of NY[小弟要菜吗？lol.] and with the most 'inedible' GREEN PEAS![but still finished my share...utterly gross]

after that not so fantastic lunch,all went to my house to slack.[that includes xh,les,lim and quek]this was the first time any of the 04S3A people came to my house.they should be honoured.lol.played monopoly and ate ice-cream cause my house really nothing much to do.haha.marcus came much later.after that was more ice-cream.[the 2nd serving~]home sweet home after eating the sweet and milky mango ice-cream.[brought to us by marcus~]thanks marcus for leaving your 1.9 litres mango ice-cream at my freezer![where did the o.1 litre go to?]

talking about creativity,we were quite amused when we saw 2 people siting on the tiled bench reading something which looks like newspapers.after les told me they were ads then i realise.[cause the prints was all about what they're advertising for]a few steps later,saw another 2 doing the same thing,but they were on a high-turnable chairs.[anyway,why are they both placed in close proximity?quite illogical...]they were like 'very engross' with what they are reading.lol.

forgotten to blog about the dinner on wednesday at MFM.there was another 8-persons group waiting to be seated too.the rule of the game is the first group to have the full strength will get the priority to get the seats.we had the full strength first but due to the fact that we have 1 more person than the other group [just 1 more only!]they got the seats first.why we were not told of such a rule.maybe we can't be questioning their authority.cause we saw one of the wall-deco. writing.....

it may seem to be just another slasher;phychotic movie,but there can be some inferences made to this movie actually,and we should learn the values from it.

1.Cherish your Life
many people take life for granted.maybe because we've been in the luxurious world that we've forgotten the real meaning of life.that is to live by your loved ones and friends doing meaningful things together.we should live life everyday like there's no tomorrow.it might sounds cliche,but then who knows when we'll die.it's not like we must relish our dreams everyday,but we should at least have an evaluation at the end of the day that i've lived meaningfully today.quote from the movie-"i didn't kill them,it's up to their own decision." people who smoke,take drugs,commit suicide etc should know what they should do. finally procrastinating is the last thing we should do.

2.Teamwork
when we talk about teamwork,many of us will sigh.[that includes me]it's because you won't know what kind of teammates you'll meet to accomplish the given task.[but i'm fortunate to have dz,jj,lim and low as my PW-mates~]if you meet a group of lazy people who keeps on procrastinating their submition of their work,sometimes i feel that i'll do a faster job if i did it alone.but the question is whether it'll be a fantastic one?if everyone was to do their part,everything will come out in a wonderful piece.

3.Selflessness
this last value is the most difficult to acheive.in this materialistic and complex world,not many people can acheive the state of self-sacrificial for others.people should not strive for complete selflessness neither should we strive to the other extreme - selfishness.[hate that white shirt guy!]it's hard to guage when to be selfless.it's all up to our hearts whether you should step in in that situation.

about this movie,the plot was good.alot of schemes screened potraying the ugliness of the human race.the transition to the next scene was nicely done.the director made the subsequent scene to blend in with the previous one.the games were well-planned.finally the last twist was not expected.

ANT..let me quote him -"why didn't you apply to primary school?you can stand the boys here ah?"[expressing vehemently] i can't stand primary school kids.they'll ask those potentially dangerous questions which you can't answer and there comes a phone call from their parents.[like 'why are we yellow?']and secondary school students i think they can't stand me either.lol.hope my application is successful.if not i really have nothing much to do before i'm sentenced.left me,les and marcus with a long agonising break...the worst thing is i don't even know when i'm enlisted.and there goes the slogan "Our Army-The Decisive Force".

yesterday was prom.dyed and highlighted my hair.it wasn't that happening as i thought.emcee was quite good in getting the people ready.food overall was 5/10.passed it because the chicken was nice.the soup was the most 难吃.it's very spicy and sour.didn't manage to get any of the prices.only dz got the $100 swensens voucher.[i pod nano and X box!!]prom king nothing much to say.prom queen was the best out of the four.that's all i can comment.

clubbing wasn't my type of place.alchol sucks anyway.unless we are playing with lab's alcohol then it's another story.so only me,zy and les went home.luckily manage to board the last 105 bus.

actually was not going for the gathering with the maris brothers.but then since we've not met for quite some time,might as well meet.however,i'll be having a bbq at low's house,so i had to meet them early at 5 30.[it's 2am and i had to stop using low's com. as his relatives were about to sleep in his room][now using my com. in the morning]walked around PS and chit-chat abit.then meet up with john to go to low's house.

low's bbq has been unanimously voted the best bbq of the year!~with it's golden brown chicken wings,succulent prawns,spicy curry and appetising bee hoon,there was not even a close competitor.

after the delicious bbq we had,we celebrated les's birthday at low's house.[including his family, relatives and cousins]had a chocolate cake.[think there were maltose-like mini-spheres within the layers]thought that might as well stay at low's house since nobody was intending to leave and it was really very late to catch any public transport.however,one of low's relative offered to send the hougang people back.so they all bang sei us.so had to stay at low's house.slept at around 3 plus after playing cards.the rest still playing mahjong.woke up at 7am to have breakfast at YK.

in today's world,we are facing a monumental threat - pollution.not only are we continously polluting the Earth and its atmosphere.it has occurred to me that economic returns are paramount to a clean and green environment.that is why US still insist not to cut down the amount of CO2 released.there's only one word to say - propensity.it's our natural tendency to want to prosper financially.however,such insouciancing remark should not be condoned.still,many countries are professing to aim to decrease its pollution to Earth.they do not know the enormity of this situation.(or they think such issues are just plain frivolous)it may seems that US is helping the third world countries to advance in their technologies,but does dumping(yes,i mean dumping)useless(cannot be functioned) computers into their homeground.to put it in a nice way,it's to let the people in the developing countries to be familiar with the technology.(not very convincing anyway)to put it in a bad way,they are just being selfish just to place their rubbish into other people's land.such people are just complicit.

another pollutants are the people who smokes.smoking are thought to be inextricable to cool.may i ask what's so cool about smoking when you'll be killed by it eventually?smoking is definitely a vice.smoking kills it's adherents slowly.that's alright for us as they 'deserved' a rest.however,somkers killing innocent lives who do not smoke is must be denouced.killing others maybe the worst thing smokers can do,but the realease of more greenhouse gases means more people will die.sooner or later,we'll be living in a world where it's full of soot and smoke and there'll be more dead people than living people.

why do governments not ban the sale of cigarettes?there's only one model answer to this question - to earn the taxes.again,we can see that the world now revolves around money and economy.without money,starvation comes in.then comes along arguments then hatred then war.
but then again,why did US wage a war?that's an enigma which has many possible answers to it.

talking about world pollution,people are being polluted in the mind as well.open-mindedness may seems to be the key to a sociable society.however,more and more people are suffering from openess fanatism.that is why there are more cases of sexual promiscuity and even underage sex around the world.yes,we know that HIV is malignant.but the majority do not care much.you may ask why,but that's for us to find out from them.perhaps they are tired of living.

looks like the more advance we human race are,the more we pursue the tangibles,leaving the intangibles on the shelves,locked...without any trace of it's key.

yesterday had another bball session.[finally we are able to play after numerous attempts since after A's]thought i would not 中sunburn,but i've forgotten to use the sunblock on my nose.[now having a peeling nose...]

in the evening had a bbq with nyco.shall not blog anything about it cause there's virtually nothing happening over there.it's like[hello!!]our farewell and we've no food and whatsoever... ...

today went to ms chiew's house for games.some mahjong fanatics were of cause there.others played board games[cluedo and pictionary] and cards.pictionary was fun!moreover,it's a good board game as the duration is quite okay and there can be alot of players playing in one game.watched sea games.witness the victory of LJW and JY in table-tennis and swimming respectively.

dinner was on the house!ms chiew treated us to tze char.it was a wholesome meal.had kangkong,omelette,芥兰，麻婆豆腐，姜葱鱼片，咕噜肉，牛油虾[with 麦片].[thanks ms chiew!~]zc,hk,lim and marcus went to play pool.saw an immature teenager complaining about the other of the same kind who were 不爽 with each other.really cannot stand this type of bengs.no matter how many lightyears of CME they are given,nothing can be changed.anyway,there cannot be an ideal society where peace is at every corner.

encountered 10 odd eager-to-be-hated smokers.

*7 am in the morning and i'm awake?it's for real.meeting zy,yx,lim and john at SS for a run.[plus swimming with yx]**was suppose to meet lim at the bus-stop near the NY side gate at 7 30.but he wasn't there at that time.the worst thing was i didn't bring my hp.[and my wallet as well.didn't want to bring too much valuables]so i went back to call him.he said he was there,so i went back again.[feeling abit edgy...]not even a single cell of his was seen.so i just walked straight to SS.yx called him again and he said he was at 711 all the while.[pls refer to **...lol]but he still found his way there.

ran for two rounds,then swam for a few laps and made a new friend at the track.

after taking a quick shower at the public shower area,we went to TPY for some k box.sung from 11 plus to 2 plus.[the lunch sucks to the core but then still had to finish it up cause was too hungry at that time]70% of the songs i have never heard of.but still managed to follow through abit.was fun though.

went around TPY to look for slippers.didn't bought any cause they didn't have my size.saw quek having his lunch.chit-chat abit,then all went back home to rest.[was about to rent some DVDs to low's house and watch but was futile]

a bad news came:date to visit ms chiew's house was changed to tomorrow.so i had to slow key in all the contacts and mass sms everyone.the bad-er news was it somehow clashes with the b-ball session we planned this afternoon.[which will be the 4th time that it has flopped]played yahoo! games with john.[bridge, go fish and pool]

after a few hours,a bad-est news came:date to visit ms chiew's house was changed back to saturday.so i had to re-send the new info. to the rest.and i had to pick up calls for a total time of 9 minutes.[in one day!]so unless it's really an emergency,[emergency as in life and death matters]don't call me.sms me instead.but at least i've exceeded the quota of sms-es sent per day,which was a good sign.[if not i would be letting down the line company which provided me 700 free sms-es]think it's time to change a new plan.any suggestions?
