Forgotten to review on the movie 4B and I watched last Thursday - Horton hears a who. It's a childish show but has a lot of meanings in it. It teaches trust, perseverance, forgiveness and acceptance. I especially like 2 quotes from the movie - "I say what I mean, and I mean what I say." and "No matter how small a person, a person is a person." I rate it 8/10.
A few of the 4B students calculated my mobile phone number because of a yearbook when I was in Primary 6! lol Luckily they never call me unnecessarily... ...other than de shuen (which in a way sounds like my name! xp).
This week was chaotic as I need to take care some of the lower primary kids. They're always running around, screaming in a high pitch, talking loudly (but when it comes to answering questions, they speak in a volume almost inaudible~), fighting... .... the list goes on. There is one particular kid who's easily provoked and tend to punch, push, kick and sometimes using weapons to take 'revenge' on his classmates. His actions are due to his father as he said his father is like that too. I kind of pity him as he has a bad childhood. He's a child with a father who's too abusive and has no good friends in class due to his aggression learnt from his father.
Telling him violence cannot solve any problem but will worsen it and retaliation will only make both parties at fault. He seemed to have understood it but after awhile he's back to his old self. Change in attitude takes time. Hope the teachers will not be too harsh on him or else it'll backfire.
